The Director of Business Development & Strategic Accounts is a leadership role at Adchor, responsible for driving agency revenue growth through new business acquisition, strategic account expansion, and consultative partnership development. This individual will own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and lead generation through to proposal development, deal closing, and ongoing account growth—while collaborating with internal delivery teams to ensure client success.
This role is designed for a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader with deep expertise in scaling marketing agencies, a proven track record in consultative sales, and a sharp ability to align client challenges with strategic solutions. You’ll serve as the face of Adchor to senior-level prospects and clients across diverse industries, with a focus on healthcare, B2B services, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and execute a proactive business development strategy targeting mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Identify high-potential prospects and lead outreach, relationship cultivation, and sales funnel advancement.
- Collaborate with marketing to align demand generation efforts and develop targeted outreach campaigns.
- Lead proposal development, pitch presentations, and contract negotiations, tailoring Adchor’s services to client-specific challenges.
- Serve as the executive sponsor for select high-value accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and long-term retention.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by analyzing client needs, business objectives, and performance insights.
- Partner with delivery leads to ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively and results are communicated clearly.
- Maintain deep knowledge of client industries, trends, and competitive landscapes to provide proactive strategic guidance.
- Represent Adchor in industry forums, webinars, and partner ecosystems to elevate visibility and thought leadership.
- Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine and expand Adchor’s service offerings based on market demand and opportunity.
- Work cross-functionally with Strategy, Creative, and Ops to scope and staff client projects for success.
- Inform internal processes related to scoping, proposals, pricing models, and client onboarding.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual planning to align business development with agency goals.
